Presenting the Volunteer of the Year!

While some of us sipped our coffee and others scrounged up any unfinished bottles of wine, President Mark presented the plaque for the Volunteer of the Year 2011. This year's award went to one of our scullery maids from the kitchen at our monthly potlucks, Bil B.

Bil had been voluntarily stuck in the kitchen for over four years and decided that enough was enough. It's hard work, and one misses a lot of the socializing that takes place between 6:30 and 7:30.  So this year he will rejoin the group and sample appetizers and soak up conversation, and then relax over the wonderful food that invariably appears on the big buffet tables.
